This video is one of my favourite. I was fascinated by the efforts in creating this video. I still wonder how did you guys manage to make the chocolate 'floats' down from the shelf (00:35 - 00:38) and also the part where Kak Maira was lifted off the ground (00:45 - 00:48)??!! It was genius!
The contents presented were authentic in the sense that real food were used... I believe kids will grasp the idea much faster when they see brands such as 'Cadbury' and 'Nandos' in the video. I like the usage of angel and devil - simple and easy to distinguish the concept of good and bad.
On the other hand, i believe that it will be better to be consistent with the kind of food presented. It'll be better if the kind of food which was on Amina's plate is exactly similar to the one recommended by the devil, as well as to the one recommended by the Angel. In that way, it'll be easy for the children to follow the idea.
Also, i feel that the kind of food recommended by both the Angel and the Demon should be classified in more general terms. 'vegetables' will be easier for students to understand than 'salad' (and also due to the fact that it's less common in our culture), and 'fruits' instead of only 'bananas'.
Lastly, I believe it'll be better to scrape the brands, as i don't think 'Cadbury' and 'Nando's' will appreciate being classified under 'unhealthy food' although most of us know it's true =P
Overall, i think this video's great and could be used to teach not only on healthy eating habits, but spelling as well...If this video could grab the attention of a supposed 'grown-up' like me, i don't see why students wouldn't find it interesting! =D
